These virtual career and internship fairs bring career opportunities to undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni of Rutgers University.
New Brunswick, NJ— Career Exploration and Success at Rutgers University is thrilled to announce three upcoming career and internship fairs for students and alumni. The first event is the “Rutgers Virtual Career and Internship Fair: Diversity & Inclusion,” on September 29, 2023. According to the National Association of Colleges & Employers, recruiters are “seeking candidates who demonstrate the awareness, attitude, knowledge, and skills required to engage equitably and include people from different local and global cultures.” This event is open to all candidates interested in employers with established diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
After this is the “Rutgers Virtual Career and Internship Fair: Master’s & Doctoral Students.” It will take place on October 6, 2023. This event will help master’s and doctorate students with their career planning and job searches.
The third event, the “Rutgers Virtual Career and Internship Fair: Life Sciences, Health, and Medicine” will be held on October 13, 2023. This event is for those pursuing degrees or interested in Life Sciences, Health, and Medicine.
Candidates interested in any of the events can register here.
This fall, along with the Career & Internship Mega Fair, Rutgers University is arranging these three virtual events to provide a great opportunity for students to engage with actively recruiting employers. Attendees will be able to discuss full-time, part-time, and internship openings. The spectrum includes in-person, virtual, and hybrid roles, ensuring candidates can explore diverse avenues that align with their aspirations.
Candidates will get a chance to directly connect with recruiters and gain valuable insights into organizational hiring needs. For Rutgers–New Brunswick students, attendance will not only provide a competitive edge in their internship and job searches but will also contribute toward earning a stamp in the #Rutgersworks Free Tuition Challenge.
“Actively recruiting employers will be available to virtually network with candidates to discuss full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities, including in-person, virtual, or hybrid roles. This Rutgers Virtual Career and Internship Fair: Diversity & Inclusion is open to all Rutgers University students and alumni,” said Lisa Goddard, Senior Assistant Director, Career and Internship Fair Management.
“We are happy to support Rutgers University in providing students with this opportunity to boost their careers. I look forward to a successful event and wish the candidates all the best,” says vFairs CEO Muhammad Younas.
Now until October 29, 2023, candidates can enjoy a limited-time offer of an extra 30% discount on select career wear, shoes, and accessories through the exclusive Rutgers JCPenney Suit-Up partnership. By texting RUCAREERS to 67292, they will receive a 30% off coupon toward their purchases.
